    Reading the colours

A finished word turns green and locks if it can lead to a solve. If not, green letters lock, yellow ones stay in their word for good, plain ones go anywhere. Not a word: a red outline.

    How to weave

Fill the board. Use every tile. Make real words.

    1. Drag a tile onto a square, or tap a tile and then a square.
    2. Every row or column of squares reads as a word, left to right or top to bottom.
    3. Where words cross, they share one tile.

There's no set answer: any arrangement of real words wins. When you finish a word it turns green if it can lead to a solve with your other words, and it's locked in. If it can't, its letters turn green where they fit (locked in), yellow where the letter belongs in that word but in another square (it stays in the word for good, and can move within it), and stay plain if they don't fit (take them back, or put them anywhere). A finished word that isn't a word is outlined in red and gets no colours.

    When you're stuck

Check shows any finished word that isn't in the dictionary, or is used twice. Hint finds a word that fits your board as it stands, or the letters to clear if nothing does. Neither costs anything, and there's no clock.

On a keyboard: arrows move between squares, a letter places a tile from the tray, Backspace takes one off, Ctrl+Z undoes (back to your last green word).
